Лен, а ты уверена, что в море не унесет? Я читала, что рип он как раз может утащить даже просто стоящего в воде человека. Сейчас проверила по вики и пишут, что a rip current is a strong channel of water flowing away from the shoreline... The water flows seaward from near the shore.
